Every once in a while I post a Presidential
Newsletter. It has been a while since my previous edition. This will be my last
one as President of Dealer Auctions. When you create something as large as
Dealer Auctions it cannot help but to be imitated from the mom-and-pop guys to
the multibillion dollar companies. With all this imitating going on and no one
getting it right, it seems only logical we duplicate ourselves and open
As of January 2, Jim Bitonti, has taken over as President of
Dealer Auctions. This will be the first time a non-owner has occupied this coveted post. Jim's background is impressive at the very least! Jim is a
graduate of Georgetown Law with a heavy emphasis in business. Jim's forte has
been in National and International Corporate Growth. With Jim's addition, we
were lucky enough to acquire his daughter, Lindsay, also an attorney; she will
work as corporate counsel for Dealer Auctions.
With all this said, we have put enormous energy into the future of Dealer Auctions. Through the help of our senior Director of Business Strategies - Christina Satiro, Lee Bowlin, Kyle Setaro, and myself, we have spent the last year on the road to identify potential locations for Dealer Auctions. I am very proud to say within the next few months, we will have three brand-new offices in Texas, starting with Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. At the same time we will have an office opening in Atlanta, Georgia and Potomac, Maryland. For a small company this is a huge undertaking and I believe we have the right manpower in place to make this successful. I will reside at our corporate headquarters in Denver, North Carolina as its operating CEO to make sure we continue a large presence in the Carolinas and as always, we will continue to be the auction house for Charlotte Motor Speedway, a job we love. Without the help of our nearly 12,000 buyers none of this would be possible, I throw out a great big thank you. I would also like to wish everyone continued success and a great 2015 and I appreciate your continued support!
